Learn what successful people know about how to create success.
From the time we're born, we're always Learning New Skills.
Think about it It's really not that hard to do - unless we think about it.
That can be the problem - If we think about it.
We know that newborn babies don't think, "Oh I'm wet, hungry or want to be held, so I had better cry", ... They just do.
It's only later, when they're a bit older and they've learned, by watching responses that they begin to think about how to get the responses they want.
It really is no different for us now. Now that we're "adults". We still desire the responses we want. In fact, we spend a great deal of time trying to figure out what we can do to get the responses we want.
Just as the child learns new "tricks" to get attention, so do we, as "adults", need to learn new "tricks". Not only to get attention, but to make our way successfully in the world of work.
The problem(s) come when we think about it.
We think we can't change what has been or is.
We think we can't be successful because we don't have ... Because we have ... Because we are ... Because we aren't ...
We think we can't be successful.
Forget about it In the world of work, you have to learn how to break old, counter-productive habits and form new productive ones in their place.
Doing so or not doing so can mean the difference between massive success and massive failure.
As we all know, bad habits are easily formed and not so easily broken.
Good habits, on the other hand, are tougher to form. Because we must make a conscious effort to do so. But - they're oh so easily broken. Because it takes an ongoing effort, at least initially, to practice them.
Pay attention to the things you do. Pay attention to the things you think. Then make the effort to break the bad habits and form the good ones.
Look deep inside yourself and form, then capture, your vision of the way you desire things to be.
Then commit yourself to putting into place good habits that will enhance your vision and make it real. As you move along the journey of your vision, constantly check yourself and make adjustments to keep your approach to your vision true.
Fly me to the moon ... Did you know that each mission for the space shuttle is mapped out in every imaginable detail before hand? What's more - even though the path is mapped out so well, ninety-seven percent of the time the navigation systems are "adjusting" to get it back on course.
Bottom line ... To get anything you desire, you're going to have to give something first.
Learning New Skills is the best way you can give to yourself to help you get the success you desire.
